Therapeutic Supervised Visitation

Parenting, especially when the parent-child relationship has been broken, can be extremely difficult.

What is Therapeutic Supervised Visitation?

Therapeutic Supervised Visitation provides parent-child interaction supervised by a clinically trained facilitator.  Visitation sessions are held in a neutral space, set up to allow for natural parent-child interaction and play.

How Can Therapeutic Supervised Visitation Help Myself & My Children?

Parenting can be difficult!  It can be hard to know how to react to your child’s behavior, particularly when the parent-child relationship has broken down.  Therapeutic Supervised Visitation provides parents and children a neutral, safe, environment to re-establish connection.  By improving parenting skills, communication, insight and understanding, children and parents can build towards a healthy future together.

How Does Therapeutic Supervised Visitation Work?

During a Therapeutic Supervised Visitation, the facilitator is present to teach parenting skills and provide feedback in the moment.  Skills are built on from session to session.  This allows the development of parenting skills to occur in a more natural way.  The goal is to build the parent’s confidence in their parenting and develop a strong parent-child relationship.

Guiding parents to improved parenting skills for a lasting, healthy, child-parent bond.
